Trigonometry Map, tangent - Coggle Diagram
-
Cosine is just like Sine, but it starts at 1 and heads down until π radians (180°) and then heads up again.
-
the trigonometric function that is equal to the ratio of the side adjacent to an acute angle (in a right-angled triangle) to the hypotenuse.

a straight line or plane that touches a curve or curved surface at a point, but if extended does not cross it at that point.
The Tangent function has a completely different shape ... it goes between negative and positive Infinity, crossing through 0, and at every π radians (180°), as shown on this plot.At π/2 radians (90°), and at −π/2 (−90°), 3π/2 (270°), etc, the function is officially undefined, because it could be positive Infinity or negative Infinity.
The cotangent is the reciprocal of the tangent.
(in a right-angled triangle) the ratio of the side (other than the hypotenuse) adjacent to a particular acute angle to the side opposite the angle.
