It happened because the Indonesian President Sukarno believed that konfrontasi would give the british control of the territories in the Federation

It happened from 1960 to1976.
Communist Terrorism is where the Malay Communist Group carried out acts of violence like assasination and bombings.
It happened because of the British

It is about a foreign terrorist hijacked the ferry boat and held the crew members as hostages.
It happened during 31 January 1974
The people whom were involved were the foreign terrorists and Singaporeans.
It hapened because Singapore had never encountered hijacking since its indepence.
The Vietnam war

It happened from 1954-1975
It happened because the communists in Vietnam fough against the French because Vietname was a part of French Colony and it was also occupied by the Japanese during World war 2.
France, Vietname, America and Singapore was involved in the war.
The North Vietnam and South Vietname were fighting to reunify the vietname under their own rules. Then, America soon supported the South Vietnam to fight North Vietname because the America believed that if North Vietname had won, communism would spread to the neigbouring countries and eventually the whole region
British Millitary Withdrawal from Singapore.

It happened from 1819 to 1976
It happened because the British found that the importance of maintaining its own millitary presence in its own region. To makes things worse, they could no longer afford large ammount of money and resources to maintain Singapore's Millitary and the British also had to focus on rebuilding economy in Britain.
So the British Government announced in 1967, that they would withdraw the Biritsh Millitary forces from
Singapore.And then by 1971, Most of the British had already left. By 1976, the British have fully withdrawed from Singapore
