Hajj

Hajj is a pilgrimage to the House of Allah which is also at Mecca. Saudi Arabia
Spiritual pilgrimage. Faith the centre of life, asking Allah for forgiveness of sins.
This also happens on judgment day, the last day on this earth.
Physical hardship and warship (travel, crowds, heat, clothes, fasting)
All equal before God. Celebrating the worldwide community (umma) of Islam
Salat / Salah
Offering Salat which is prayer fives a day if you are a Sunni
Offering Prayer three times a day if you are Shia.
Submission to Allah, Allah the centre of life.
Pysical and spiritual submission body and spirit
Worship A relationship with Allah, Peace
Unity in prayer. A pattern to day/week
Sawm
Fasting in the month of the Ramadan.
Shahada
Testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah (God) and Muhammad is his Messenger
Shahada can be connected to Tawhid which is the first of the six, articles of faith and the most important.
“Ashadu an la ilaha illa illa-ilah, wa ashadu anna muhammadan rasul ullah.”
Translation:
“There is no God but God
(Allah – i.e. there is none worthy of worship but Allah),
and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
You must say this in front of two witnesses
