Keep in contact with health professional about appropriate strategies- Make sure plans and strategies are in line with professionals' directions

Non-diagnosed "Struggling Behavior" Observed by Teacher/ Administration
Identify suspected needs- observe what the student is struggling with, how they are behaving in class, and try to identify what might be needed for the student.
Confer with fellow instructor and administration to confirm needs- Talk with other teachers who have the student in their class and decide if it is agreed that the student is struggling in a certain way
Make a plan to address a student's needs- Have a meeting with those involved in order to make a set plan for monitoring and addressing the student's specific needs
Implement strategies- Try out the strategies that you decided upon with your colleagues in real time
Monitor efficacy of strategies- Note what works and what doesn't within or without the classroom
Confer with coworkers about efficacy in their own classes and collaborate on how strategies can be improved- Talk about your own observations on what is really making a difference in their progress, or what might be better to alter, and implement any changes
If needed, consult first with parents, then if needed, with a professional- if it starts to seem like there is an ongoing obstacle for the student's education, make sure to speak with their family first, and discuss the possibility of bringing in a professional to assist
