Natural Gas
Advantages:
Used as a primary source of heating
Cooking natural gas is more enviromentally friendly than oil or coal
it produces less emisions and 30% less carbon dioxide
it's cheap less expensive than gasoline
Emits 60 - 90 percent less smog producing pollutants
it can provide as long as 24 hours of electricity throughout the week
Disadvantages
It's highly volatile, flamable and can be dangerous
Extraction process, sometimes leads to an unprecedented leak
Over the years there has been a sharp increase in deforestation and groundwater pollution
it's mainly composed of methane
Gas methane is known to trap heat inside the Earth's atmosphere in quantities larger
Contributing to global warming
It's the most common cause of carbon monoxide deaths
It's formed alongside coal and oil
