Minds is an organisation that aims to advance the development, well-being and aspirations of persons with intellectual disability and their integration into society
informal groups (have a specific, short term objective related to issues that arise suddenly)
in 2013 during haze crisis, an individual set up a facebook page called "SG haze rescue" asking for ppl to donate extra masks and calling for volunteers to help distribute the masks

Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) found that salary safekeeping was a common source of disputes btw employers & foreign domestic workers (FDWs). Hence, it lobbied to make salary safekeeping illegal, which was subsequently implemented in 2019.

when there are proposals/draft plans, citizen feedback & suggestions enable necessary changes & improvements to be made

REACH was set up to encourage Singaporeans in the policy-making & policy-refining process. Citizens' feedback will be accepted and translated into actions.
ppl's opinions and feedbacks are listened to -> have a stake in the development of country -> sense of belonging
