We need to learn skill, knowledge and attitudes

Still need teachers
Need to be organised
Still need basic skills (ACFS)

Education opportunities remain unequal
School are still underfunded
The arts are still under-appreciated
Depending on social focus there is always subjects deemed more important
Literacy and numeracy are still considered core skills
There is still a process of learning, then implementation

What has changed?

Teaching methods changed - teacher no longer just delivering information, learner engagement and responses now more important.

Support for learners (LLN, student inclusion for varying abilities)
Trainer is no longer the only source of information rather the connection between learners and learning material
Internet provides multiple information resources
Classroom layouts
Emergent curriculum - following the learners interests and strengths to develop other skills
Learners are encouraged to seek information themselves rather that being told the information
Teachers no longer feared, discipline has changed.
