Questions
Do Prakriti level stratification of healthy individuals allow us to capture inter-individual variability at cellular level towards hypoxia stress in other cohort ?
Can Prakriti specific cellular model allow us to find molecular correlates to study inter-individual variability in hypoxia sensing ?
Hypothesis
Prakriti specific cell lines might allow us to dissect the variability in hypoxia sensing and response pathways that may contribute to inter-individual variability in their phenotypic outcomes.
Objectives
To study expression profiles of extreme Prakriti derived Lymphoblastoid Cell Lines (LCLs) in normoxic and hypoxic conditions at different time points
To identify molecular markers linked to variability in hypoxia responsiveness among extreme Prakriti types

Research methodology
Objective 1
- Hypoxia generation and Time point validation
- Hypoxia challenge to all LCL lines to see their overall response
- Confirm the hypoxia specific markers at Protein level, and RNA levels
- Perform gene expression profiling using Microarray using HTA 2.0 chip
