Literature Review for Better Training and Development

Research Question: Does training and development influence the employees and the company?

Individual Objectives (employees)

What do the employees want to accomplish at the workplace? If they accomplish what they desire, should this help the companies production?

Organizational Objectives

What goal does the organization want to reach in the end of the month, year, decade, etc.?

Is employee safety included in their priorities? If so, proper training is important.

Functional Objectives (operation HR, and marketing)

These "teams" in the company are able to help better the company.

Social Objectives

The company should prioritize ethics and be socially responsible for the needs or risks of the company/ environment the employees are in.

Current Training situation

workers getting hurt or being put at risk

getting wrote up for not doing things correctly

production being shut down because not enough people are trained

On the job training

Education with the trainers. Trainers should be picked and evaluated by management or supervisors.
