His idea is to provide $8,000 to $10,000 per year for teams of four students (2nd and/or 3rd year) who would at Innocap for a semester on a particular problem. Most if not all the work could be done remotely although he mentioned employees tend to show on Wednesdays and all gather for pizza at the end of the day. He favors interdisciplinary groups, e.g. not only business students. Possible projects could pertain to data management or big data, human resources, or “the future of the workspace”. I believe the students at HEC are not compensated except for refunding them for expenses. Since this is part of a for-credit course, I imagine the $8,000 goes to the supervising professor.
