A strong feeling of connectedness is fostered through healthy and respectful relationships. People are more connected and through shared interest values and beliefs stay that way.
The relationships are inclusive of others and make people feel comfortable promoting optimal spiritual health, Meaning and purpose are essential parts of spiritual haw and can be achieved through having many different relationships.
Mental Health and Wellbeing
Stress, anxiety and low self-esteem are characteristics of people involved in unhealthy, negative relationships. In this mental health and wellbeing can be severely compromised.
HARR can improve and promote optimal health and wellbeing because stress remains low, when anxiety is present it can be reduced by sharing and being cared for.
Being supported to do things and build good self-confidence and esteem. In healthy and respectful relationships when people fail to fully achieve their goals having support from others means they can try again and their resilience if built along the way,
Being part of a healthy and respectful relationship means: Big life decisions can be made together which means that the accompanying anxiety can be reduced.
With good communication all parties can offer their thoughts and feelings to make their decisions together.
