A book/story that takes place in an historical event but has elements of fiction within it.

History is factual events that can be traced back to something that actually happened.
Fiction is something that is fake and has event that never occurred.
When history and fiction mix, it forms history with fiction added as well, making the events that happened in the book both real and fake. It can be traced back to something that may have happened but is never entirely true.
