Public health
INTRODUCTION
Public health is the science and art of organizing and directing collective efforts to protect, promote, and restore the health of the inhabitants of a community.
Public health is the responsibility of governments, who are responsible for organizing all community activities that directly or indirectly contribute to the health of the population.

Health-Illness Process
It is the sequence or course of events that occur in the human body between the sequential action of the component causes (etiology) until the disease develops and the outcome occurs (cure, transition to chronicity or death).
Prevention Levels
primary prevention is the set of measures applied in the management of the health-disease process before the individual becomes ill.
Secondary prevention corresponds to actions aimed at the early detection of the disease and its timely treatment. It includes health recovery actions.
Tertiary prevention refers to rehabilitation actions provided to people so that they can use their abilities and thus reintegrate into society.
Attention Levels
Medical First level of medical care: Actions focused on preserving health through promotion activities, epidemiological surveillance, basic sanitation and specific protection
Second level of medical care: Specialized outpatient care and hospitalization services for patients derived from the first level or those who present spontaneously with medical-surgical emergencies
Third level of medical care: Activities aimed at restoring health and rehabilitating users referred by the other levels

Education for health
Health Education (EPS) has been considered as one of the fields of innovation of the Educational Reform underway in Spain, and is becoming increasingly important as an area of pedagogical work in formal education and in social education.

From a preventive point of view, training people to avoid health problems by controlling risk situations themselves, or by avoiding their possible consequences.
From a health promotion perspective, training the population so that it can adopt healthy lifestyles.
