- - - - Objection to Holm's opinion
        
        Parents might falsely believe thar certain physical deformities implied intellectual impairment and this would lead them to treat children so deformed in a way which undermined their autonomy
        
        For example, parents might believe that female children were less intelligent than males, and, in grooming them for marriage from birth, deny them an autonomous existence
        
        Holm's argument against human cloning appears also to commit him to restrictive procreative policies like these which undoubtedly would adversely impact
        
        Human cloning should not be banned with the reason future people might suffer harms caused by the mistaken beliefs of parents about genetics
        
        Society should be educated welly and correctly about genetics
  - - - A clone who knew his or her genetic donor was, for example, a randomly chosen stranger, or a distant, much older relative, or even someone now deceased, would be psychologically damaged
        
        For example, a child who knows he or she was produced through IVF, always feel themselves are 'special' for having been brought into being in this way
        
        However, is it the sufficient reason to disallow cloning?
        
        If H3 harms were of exclusive import, a huge number of people in the world today are morally blameworthy in some strong sense for having brought children into the world
