The purpose of the computer lab and laptop cart is to provide an area where students can make digital creations (ex. coding, creating games, videos, or images) and work on class assignments.
The STEM Lab will have access to the Adobe Suite, coding software, game making software, design software, and video editing software. The purpose of these software licenses will be to enable digital creation while using a school computer or laptop.
The STEM Lab will house multiple 3D Printers and a laser engraver. The purpose of which is to allow students to create something physical that they have designed in a digital space.
The Computer Lab will have multiple Raspberry Pi and Arduinos available for use. They can be used for robotics, coding, and networking projects.
Robotics kits will be made available in this space. Using these kits is a hands-on activity that requires students to try different things before getting it right.

Woodworking tools will be made available in the woodshop adjoining the makerspace. Using these tools is a hands-on experience that will engage learners creativity. Students will also learn how to use power tools under supervision.
Students will have various craft supplies made available to them, such as craft sticks, butcher block paper, cardboard, etc. These supplies will be used in design challenges where students must create something via low-tech methods (example: cardboard/craft stick bridges/buildings).
