      - Fractional distillation
        
        We use fractional distillation to seperate the crude oil to create different things
    - - How fossils are formed
        
        1) An animal dies and it decomposes leaving the bones
        
        2) Sediment and rock forms on top of the dead bones
        
        3) As more layers of rock form on top it turns into rock

  - - - Speed - The distance an object travels in a set amount of time (how fast the object is travelling)
      - Distance = Speed X Time
      - Time = Distance/Speed
      - Speed = Distance/Time
    - - Velocity - The speed and direction of motion of an object
      - Measured in (m/s) metres per second
      - Terminal velocity - When an object is falling and the force pulling it down is equal to the force pushing it up. The object is no longer accelerating
    - - Acceleration - The rate in which an object changes velocity over time.
      - Measured in meters per second squared
      - Acceleration = Final velocity - Initial velocity/Time
      - Negative acceleration - Deacceleration
    - - Thinking distance - The distance traveled while you react to the situation
  - - - Darwins theory - Is that animals that are best suited to their environemtn survive.
  - - - Travel in a perpendicular direction to the direction of energy transfer
      - Eg. Light, earthquake, rope, water ripples
    - - Travel in a parallel to the direction of energy transfer
      - Eg. Sound
    - - Number of waves = Frequency X Time taken
      - Wave speed = Frequency X Wavelength
      - 1 wave = Time period X Frequency
