Apostolic succession- the teaching that bishops represent a direct, uninterrupted line of continuity from the first Apostles of Jesus Christ

Gospel of Judes- non-canonical Gnostic gospel. The content consists of conversations between Jesus and Judas Iscariot

Crusades- religious wars between Christians and Muslims

Protestant Reformation- a religious reform movement

Eastern Orthodox-

Luther-best known among Christians as the seminal figure in the Protestant Reformation and as the namesake of Lutheranism

Calvin-known for his influential institutes and later called Calvinism
