Cardioversion
Two electrodes are placed on the client's chest. Once the defibrillator is synchronized with the patient, a shock is delivered. The patient is sedated prior to undergoing the shock.
Continuation of care
A referral to the cardiologist in most of the time prescribed by the physician.
Nursing care
Anticoagulation therapy
Apply compression socks to patients feet
Reducing client anxiety
Develop therapeutic relationships with clients
Inform the client of what to expect and the course of action
