Messianism

The goal of Judaism doesn't outright state there is an afterlife of any sort. The goal of following Judaism is to create a realm of justice and peace in accordance with God's commandments. It led to a political apparatus as well as laws: whether that be economic or for religious conduct.
Old Testament/Torah
Genesis. In the book of Genesis we have the creation of God's Garden of Eden. In this garden God created numerous animals (I wish T-rex eating a pineapple was in there, that'll come in a later denomination). Adam was created first on the sixth day and later would create Eve from one of his ribs. In another version Adam had a wife before Eve named Lilith but she was a bad woman to him and left him. Other accounts claim she was never his wife and rather a demon by default. The serpent was the form that the devil or Lucifer took on and convinced Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge. Afterwards she then convinced Adam to eat from the tree as well. God then cast them from the garden and this is what resulted in Adam and Eve having original sin.
