Treaty of Versailles
Germany were forced to pay $6.6billion in reparations
this caused Germany to print more money
this caused hyper inflation
Some of the terms were unjust because it was made in a rush
People believed the terms would start another war
The TofV (treaty of versailles) terms were very harsh against Germany
Germany had no say in the terms
Hitler's Foreign Policy
Great Depression
Manchuria
Abyssinia
League of Nations
Many countries felt the league wasn't a threat
This meant peace was disrupted and the League were useless
The leagues aim was to keep peace
Without an army the League couldn't achieve this
Nazi Soviet Pact
Germany needed protection
Russia wanted land back
Split Poland
The USSR (Russia) made a pact with Germany
No war just split Poland
They did this because Britain and France were Isolating Russia
Appeasement
France and Britain were giving Hitler what he wanted so that he wouldn't start another war
However Hitler used this to gain power and start a war
this can be seen as a huge factor for WW2
