  - - - It is a management tool in which the employees make their own decisions within a defined framework. It focuses on reducing the routine workload for the supervisor and allowing them to use their expertise for critical decisions instead of routine-based ones.
    - - It means passing as many approval authorities and responsibilities as possible to employees, who then make decisions and act on them. In this, the supervisor should be relieved of some of his workload and in turn support her staff to follow their own initiative/motivation for performance and recognize their readiness to take on different responsibilites.
    - - It represents the classical goal-setting interview and the resulting measures. Here, management is based on goals embedded in a process that extends from the organization's vision to individual employee goals. The objectives can generally be set in different ways:
        
        The supervisor defines the objective and the employee is allowed to contribute his opinions.
        
        The employee develops his objectives and they are approved in a discussion with the supervisor.
        
        The supervisor and employee formulate them independently and then agree to them.
    - - It is actually a higher level management tools that unites the management tools mentioned above. Management by objectives and management by delegation are incorporated into management by system. The goals is to make the control mechanism transparent and measurable and to orient employee work positions and relationships towards it.
