After Lewis and Clark went out west and explored the land. A lot of people started wanting to move out west . If they wanted to move out west, how could they travel?

For a long time, trains couldn't take people out west because before trains could go somewhere, you have to build a track for the trains, but we didn't have tracks going all the way across our country
So two groups decided to work together to finish this and it took them 7 years to build this railroad track from the West to the East.

We can see, transportation has changed a lot over time and it's going to keep changing even more
