1529: Cranmer meets Bishops Gardiner & Fox, makes a suggestion regarding the Kings Great Matter which earns him the notice of Henry
1553; August-Placed under house arrest for his involvement in signing the document for Lady Jane Grey to be crowned. September- committed to the tower on a charge of having spoke against Latin Mass. Bill of Attainder passed against him

1556: Feb 14th-Stripped of his Archie-Biscopal robes & insignia. Feb 16th- Abjured all beliefs he formerly professed of a Lutheran or Zwinglian nature. Mar 21st-Forced to speak publicly, begged for divine forgiveness, proclaimed his faith, obedience to the throne. Then preached his true views, enraging the Judges. For this he was burned at the stake, but reportedly didn't even react to the flames and died a martyr
