PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project Management is an effort so that an activity or project can be achieved efficiently and effectively.
Effective in this case is where the results of the use of resources in accordance with established targets include quality, cost, time and others.
Efficient means the use of resources and the selection of sub-activities appropriately which
includes the amount, type, when to use other sources and others.
The stages in project management
Project Scope Management
Contains a summary statement (general summary of the project), the needs of the business being carried out and the things that are the limits of implementing a project.
Project Scheduling Management
Contains details of activities and project schedules
that will be carried out. At this stage there is also a Gantt Chart that contains the scheduling of the projects being carried out.
SCHEDULING
Scheduling is important in every process, both in the planning process and in the process
of planning execution, as is done in a project.
In a project, scheduling is certainly a vital thing, because a project will be carried out within a limited period of time, and must achieve certain goals.
Organization or company design project scheduling can be done using the Gantt Chart.
Several stages that need to be considered in making Gantt Chart
Task Identification
Describing the Horizontal Axis
Writing Each Task
Re-examination
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
Organizational structure is a formal organizational framework in which work tasks are divided, grouped, and coordinated (Robbins, 2003).
4 basic components that
form the framework in providing definitions in organizational structure (Child, 1972):
The organizational structure provides a description of the division of tasks and responsibilities to individuals and parts of an organization.
The organizational structure provides an overview of the reporting relationships that are formally established in an organization.
The organizational structure defines the grouping of individuals, becomes part of the organization, and the grouping of parts of the organization into a whole organization.
The organizational structure establishes a system of relationships within the organization that enables the achievement of communication, coordination, and integration of all organizational activities, both vertically and horizontally.
4 TYPES OF INTERDEPENDANCE
Pooled Interdependence
Is the simplest form, work does not flow from one part to another, but each part is a member of the organization and although working independently, both have a contribution to joint tasks.
Sequential Interdependence
Is sequential interdependence in series, where the output of a part will be input for the next section.
Reciprocal Interdependence
Represent the highest degree of interdependence. The output of a section can be input for the next section. The output from this last part can again be input for the first part.
Team Interdependence
This type of interdependence is similar to reciprocal interdependence. But the difference in this Interdependence Team, the workload is done together in a team or group to produce output simultaneously.
EDEXATION & EXTRAPOLATION TECHNIQUE
Edexation & Extrapolation Techniques are two simple techniques in determining the amount of HR needs.
Edexation
Index analysis or ratio analysis is a forecasting technique that uses indexes to determine organizational growth. Companies in using this analysis usually base on record sales volume at a certain time as a basis.
Extrapolation
Extrapolation techniques are commonly used to estimate human resource needs in the short term. The use of projected HR needs with extrapolation techniques is based on the average growth data of employees in certain departments / departments.
