- - - - For example, India felt like its objection of Pakistani aggression was ignored. India condemned the presence of the Pakistani military and felt like the presence of pakistani troops in the region an act of aggression.
        
        Hence, it demanded the disbandment of the "Azad forces" which was an irregular force used by Pakistan which was used to create revolt in Kashmir preliminary to the 1947 indo-pakistani war, and to fight Indian forces as a serious military force.
    - - India felt like truce negotiations were unfair if Pakistani aggression was to be left unsuppressed, causing it to create demands to demobilise a portion of Pakistani forces. Furthermore, India claimed that the failure of doing so would lead India to believe that Pakistan had intentions of continuing hostile operations during Indian withdrawal.
        
        This threatened the resumption of hostile interaction between India and Pakistan would be extremely counter-productive for resolution 47 due to distrust forming and hence an increased difficulty to form a resolution
        
        This increased tension between the parties, making negotiations more difficult as both parties were unwilling to commit to a mutual agreement. Hence, a large amount of resistance was created for truce negotiations, eventually causing the truce to fail

  - - - For example, during the demilitarisation stage of resolution 47, Pakistan was requested to withdraw Pakistani troops deployed in Kashmir first, while India would demilitarise after Pakistan and could have troops remain in Kashmir to maintain law and order.
        
        Pakistan requested its military withdrawal to be synchronised in terms of numbers and and timing with the withdrawal of the Indian military and Pakistan continued proposing ideas with unrealistic expectations which were promptly rejected by India.

        The unwillingness of Pakistan to demilitarise first and the firms stance of India on Pakistan withdrawing first eventually resulted in a deadlock in which no progress could be made as Pakistan was unwilling to make any feasible compromises
        
        The deadlock acted as a huge form of resistance for demilitarisation.
        
        This makes it extremely difficult for the UN to mediate the conflict to form any plausible solution for demilitarisation since Pakistan was unwilling to make compromises to initiate any agreements, hence, the demilitarisation plan eventually failed.

        Hence Pakistan's inflexiblity and objections rendered demilitarisation negotiations fruitless, causing Pakistan to be most responsible for the failure of UN resolution 47 in 1948.
  - - - For example, UNCIP undermined the self determination, specifically the territorial integrity, of Kashmir.
        
        UNCIP disregarded consultation with the Sheikh Abdullah, then Kashmiri prime minister and the Kashmir government despite their calls to work on the plebiscite, which Kashmir felt was flawed since there were only options present to clearly indicate accession to India or Pakistan and a lack of means to indicate a preference for Kashmir retaining its sovereignty.
        
        Sheikh Abdullah's preference for Kashmir to remain independent was ignored as well.
        
        Furthermore, Kashmir's concerns were placed in the backseat as the UNCIP prioritised the creation of peace within Kashmir over its sovereignty.
    - - Due to UNCIP's ignorance regarding Kashmir's concerns, Kashmir felt like it was being excluded from negotiations and that the UN only recognised India and Pakistan as legitimate parties that concerned the dispute over their own territory.
        
        Kashmir was placed in an "impossible position" as they could not effectively raise concerns and were practically powerless during negotiations.
        
        This created a problem as when UNCIP would mediate the conflict with the peace of Kashmir of primary concern, since solutions were not created with Kashmir sovereignty in mind, although the problem of peace could be solved, other problems regarding Kashmir's soverignty rose again.
        
        This resulted in even more time and effort having to be spent with Sheikh Abdullah having to argue about Kashmir's right to sovereignty, creating resistance for plebiscite negotiations, causing them to eventually fail.
