Conscience
Aquines
Aquines dissiagreed with the ideas of the shcolors that came before him on what conscience was. He dissagreed with Agustine on the idea that Conscience being the literal voice og God telling people what to do.
Aquines belived that conscience was a gift from Go in that God gave us the abillity to make the rignt choices baised on out observation.

Aquines dose talk about how consciece can fail a person and how in some case if it dose those who have fail can't be held moraly responable for there actions.
As a result Aquines stated there were two types of ignarance and gives a very strange exarple of how both of them work.
Invinsable ignorance
When a person can't be held moraly resposable for ther action becuase they should have known better.
A man sleeps with another women becuase he did not know it was his wife becuase he was blind he can't be held responable for his action becuase he did not know better.
Vinsable ignorance
When a person is moraly responable for there action dispite there lack of knowlege due to the fact that they should have known better.
A man who sleeps with another women who is not his wife is moraly reprehensble if he uses the reasoning that he did not know adulterly was wrong.

Agustine

People could choose weather or not they wanted to take the advince of God and do the right thing. This is as Agustine thought tht due the the fall of man and the conection that had been severed with God humanity had the abillity to ignor God and commit sin.
