Literacy Training
Its introduce increasingly sophisticated production techniques into each country where they operate. Much of this is on-the-job training to develop the specific skills to operate more advanced equipment. But it’s not only new technical abilities that are required.
Nestle Apprenticeship Program

Local Training
Ensuring appropriate and continuous training is an official part of every manager’s responsibilities and, in many cases; the manager is personally involved in the teaching. For this reason, part of the training structure in every company is focused on developing managers own coaching skills.
International Training
the Rive-Reine International Training Centre has brought together managers from around the world to learn from senior Nestle managers and from each other. Only 25% of the teaching is done by outside professionals, as the primary faculty is the Nestle senior management.
4) If a learning disability is not a problem, what other knowledge management-related problems threaten the company?
Initial shortage of supplies
A lack of supplies at the start of the pandemic posed a big problem as large increase in consumer demand, particularly for some types of products because there was panic buying, and on the other hand the opposing pressure was many people were forced to stay at home as they had contracted COVID-19 or were part of a contact tracing program
Aging workforce and retirement
As most of the upper level positions are filled with aged personnel and each year some of them are going to retirement, Nestle has to go for continuous recruitment process to fill those positions when succession is not possible and finding the right person is also a challenge as well.
Raw material Problem
Nestle is facing an unexpected customer demand for their products which lead to increased demand for raw materials. But suppliers fail to deliver the raw materials timely due to bad weather, natural disaster, political instability and for many other reasons. Inaccuracy of orders received in inventory or stocks in hands also contribute to this problem.
Restructuring The Organization:
Nestlé identified significant problems with the pyramidal model and developed the Nestlé on the Move program. Nestlé had to change the way managers seek out contributions from their staff, Change the way managers led their people. top-down approach may serve an organization well but not suitable for uneducated and uninformed employees who need supervisors to manage them carefully.
