Studying or working from home
What?
working on a computer:
Pop up rooms, these could be very useful for a worker who needs to have calls all of the time but also has kids. it could stop the kids from interrupting the worker and make it look more professional if it is a zoom call.
Pop up walls. theses could be good because it can separate rooms for school work if two children share a room. it can also split up living space so one part could be for relaxing but another for work. however, it could also be used to share an office between couples or family.
Fold out desk, these could be used in bedrooms or personal space so the whole desk doesn't take up the normal amount of room but the same room an an ironing board when folded. this could be useful because it could give you more space for activities and still let you work with stability.
working in the garden:
Could design a shed with lots of storage space but also a lot of work space in it for someone like a carpenter. You could also put shelter in the garden for people to work under while it rains.
Small gazebo. this could be useful for gardeners so they can work in the rain if something needs doing urgently.
Problems?
One problem is that it needs to not take up a lot of room that can be used for storage in a home which is very valuable to the owner.
Another problem could be it needs to be safe incase the buyer of the product has children or animals and they want to keep them safe from danger or harm.
Another problem is that it needs to improve the life of the buyer and make their life easier and not more stressful with set up or learning how to put it together over and over again.
Another problem is space, many households do not have a lot of free storage space to leave something that will only be used a couple of t8imes a week and the space could be used to tackle another issue so it needs to be made somewhat compact.
Looks
The product needs to be pleasing to the eye and not stand out too much otherwise it will be very noticeable.
Corners have to be curved or somewhat curved to protect damage to the buyer or children and animals.
It has to be minimalistic and blends in well with its surrounding with ease so not to draw attention.
Why?
These problems need to be fixed because more work is being don't from home everyday and space is very valuable in the ordinary home. this means we can try not hit two birds with one one stone by making working easier from home but also not taking up much space.
You can work most jobs from homes but you need the storage and equipment so i am going to design something they will help you.
I am going to focus on spacing issues and architectural fixes.
architectural issues
I am going to design a model o a foldable desk and show how it works.
