Meet again after 6 weeks
Review the progress report and discuss how the implementation strategies are working
If the student is improving and meeting goals, continue with the current strategies
If unsuccessful, meet with the parents and Intervention Team to set up formal testing

Always communicate with the parents or guardians to check for similarities at home, discuss the steps that are being taken at school, and remind them that the goal is to find solutions together to best support the student
