Top down listening is activating background knowledge and working with general meaning
First we work with top down listening than we focus on bottom up listening
Connecting to previose knowledge and remembering (long term memory)
Examples:TV shows,songs,stories,puppet,plays,radio,advertisement,weather report,cartons
All activities and audious should be appropriate for srudents age,level,and culture
Teacher should make listening understandableby using teaching vocabulary,activating backgroung knowledge,and gyssing the topic
Make listening active,and interesting
