To be proud Germans who supported a strong, independent germany
To be loyal supporters of the Nazi party and believe in their policies
Girls to be strong and healthy to be strong wives
Boys to be strong and healthy to work in the German economy and fight in war
They wanted the children to be strong Nazis due to Hitler's idea of the 'thousand year Reich'
Encouraged the youth to regard Hitler as a father figure and made sure that the Nazis had control of children outside of school

Girls were taught domestic skills whilst boys were taught science
New subjects, race studies and Nazi eugenics
Propoganda
All lessons began and ended with a Hitler salute
All textbooks had to be approved by the Nazi party
Anti-Semitism and racial ideas were embedded within subjects
