- In 1960's segregation was no longer allowed. :explode:
- No Child left Behind act in the 2000's
- Every Student Succeeds Act in the mid 2010's
- Religion and its roles in school
- School is mandatory and child labor laws are enacted in early 1900's
- IQ testing began being used in schools and for war/military in 1940's
- Immigration played major roles in school policy making with things like over crowding, languages, and religions.
- In 1965 ESEA was put into place to use money to force compliance to end segregation in schools.
- School shootings on the rise since 1999 have prompted greater school security measures and emergency preparedness drills.
- Due to the federal government having a monopoly on public schools, citizens pushed for more privatization which lead to charter schools.
- Title IX was established to prevent cultural bias and discrimination in the country for education and other industries followed the ruling.

White Students : :
- Initially only wealthy white students had access
- Protestant background at inception of schools.
- Had trouble accepting integrated schools as separate but equal was not very equal.
- Separated into 2 categories in school in 1900-1950 academically Advanced and trades oriented curriculums.
- Child labor laws came into effect in early 1900's
- The first ever large scale school shooting happened in Columbine in 1999. :warning:
- Students are subjuct to IQ testing to determine career paths.
- Private and Christian schools were used as loop holes to get around desegregation.
