TYPES OF CONDITIONALS
Third conditional
We use Third conditional for impossible conditions in the past and its probable result in the past.
If/Unless + past perfect + , + would have + V3
If I had studied well, I would have passed the test
If he remembered me, he would have spoken to me.
First conditional
We use First conditional for possible facts in the present or in the future.
Sentence pattern: If / Unless + present tense + , + will / might + present tense
"If I dance, I might be happier"
"I will be better if I eat dessert"
Second conditional
We use Second conditional for untrue facts. Normally for giving advices or hipotetical situations.
If / Unless + past tense + , + would could + present tense
If I were you, I would sleep all day.
If I found the wallet, I could be richer.
Zero conditional
We use Zero conditional for generally or always true facts.
If / Unless + present tense + , + present tense
"If you boil water, it evaporates"
"If you breath, you are alive."
