What additional factors facilitated the promotion of socialism at the beginning of the 20th century?
Socialism, is based on a social and economic doctrine that calls for public ownership rather than private control over property and natural resources and is based on the cooperation of individuals with one another.
In the cases of capitalistic societies, socialism's bases and principles contradict the economic and social bases that are proposed/imposed by capitalism mostly conserning the ownership and domain of resources and properties.
Description of the basics of socialism: Socialism is based around equality concerning economic wealth, therefore it is almost imperative for a government intervention based on payments and wages.
Contextualisation of the socio economic climate in the 20th century:
During the early 20th century communist parties were promoting the soviet model of economic developement, which was based on the state ownership of means of production, collective farming and industrial manufacturing ( mainly an admisistrative command system). Socialist governments were mainly establishing mixed economies. Meanwhile capitalism in the early 20th century had changed a bit concerning how it was on the 19th century since global divisions of labour had been branched in between both centuries.
