DIMENSIONING OF CIRCLE, ARC AND HOLE
-
RULES OF DIMENSIONING
The same dimension should not be repeated on separate views, and the same information should not be delivered in two different methods.
-
Crossing or overlapping dimension lines, extension lines, and object outlines is not recommended.
-
-
ASSEMBLY MODELLING: Several pieces are combined to provide a larger, more sophisticated product depiction.
-
**Revolute Joint: Similar to a hinge, it has only one rotating degree of freedom.**
TOLERANCE
Parts cannot be manufactured precisely to the dimensions written in the drawing, according to manufacturing variations. Tolerances are added to consider these manufacturing limitations to dimensions in engineering drawings.
