Advice Process
- you notice a problem or opportunity. Check if it feels like a big decision
- you either have a proposal on what to do, or are using this process to come to this proposal
- identify who you want advice from. The advice should be specifically about the issue at hand, and might relate to a proposal, if one has been formulated
-
- Take this advice into account - meaning integrating it to the best of your ability - and decide on an action
- Inform those who have given advice about the outcome
you may choose to do another loop of advice gathering on the (updated) proposal if you sense that there might be more to integrate
Convergent Facilitation
- Check if this feels like a big decision and who needs to be there for it
- Non-controversial essences are gathered
- The proposal which has integrated the most NCEs is chosen, upgrades and concerns are integrated.
-
-
-
if setting a threshold turns out to be controversial, it may be a strong indicator that Convergent Facilitation is needed to make this decision
