Static electricity
-
The object that loses electrons becomes positively charged. The object that gains electrons becomes nuetral.
Like charges repel and oppisite charges attract. So negateive electrons will attract to positive protons.
Voltage
Voltage is measured in volts and the symbol is V. You measure the volts with a voltmeter. Yo always have a voltmeter in a parallel circuit.

Circuit symbols
There are many circuit symbols like road signs. They usually put them on ther real thing as well so you know what it is you are putting in your circuit.
The main symbols are: batteries=4 lines, bulb=circle with an X in, wires=straight lines, switch= open line in half and an ammeter=circle with an A in.
-
Current
Current is measured in Amps (A). It is shown with an I. It is measured with an ammeter. Ammeters are always in a series circuit.

Electons
-
In an atom their is a negative electron, a postitive proton and a neutral neutrons.
