What do you consider to be the most significant message from Jesus and why?
To be kind, humble and generous (give) to all, love all - do not judge, always put yourself in others shoes (empathetic) and do not act conceited either.
WHY?
Because Jesus never did judge, he was always there for the outcasts and gave all he could to help them and others.
I think in this very changed world that this would be the most important and valid in today's modern society
Parables + Scriptures
“Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” - 1 Samuel 16:7
If you had to explain the significance of Jesus to a non-Christian what would you say?
Jesus = savior for Christian sins
To Christians Jesus is the salvation of our mistakes
Jesus was 100% Devine and 100% human, as he is 100% human that makes him relate to us a humans.
He was a ordinary guy, who was the son of God, he saved people, and looked after the sick - those who were not loved he loved them.
Parables + Scriptures
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." - 1 John 3:16-18.
What do you consider to be the most important value Jesus taught us and why?
Love everyone
I believe this value is the most important and covers the rest of them. It tells us that no matter who they are, what they have said we should love.
And the same with ourselves, we should love ourselves our life and strive to make this world a better place for ourselves and others
Parables + Scriptures
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." - John 15:12-13
What do you consider to be the most important event in Jesus’ life and why?
I believe that his
arrest, crucifixion and reresection
were the most important
The arrest and crucifixion were the most important as it shows so rawly how Jesus felt, he knew this was going to happen. But when it was happening he just accepted it, praying and serving his disciples for one last time.
His reresection was one of the most magical miracles of all, bringing himself back from the dead. Showing all who doubted he was the messiah - that he indeed was.
Parables + Scriptures
“And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.” Luke 23:36
