Verb tenses
In addition to being used in the affirmative, negative and interrogative forms, the Passive Voice can also be applied in the various verb tenses in English,
Present Continuous:
object + am being/is being/are being + Past Participle of main verb + complement
Example: the car is being painted by Joaquim
Simple Present:
object + am/is/are + past participle of the main verb + complement
Example: the house is painted by Joaquim
Present Perfect:
object + has been/have been + past participle of the main verb + complement
Example: the house has been painted by Joaquim
Simple Past:
object + was/were + past participle of the main verb + complement
Example: the house was painted by Joaquim
Past Continuous:
object + was been/were been + past participle os the main verb + complement
Example: the house was been painted by Joaquim
Past Perfect:
object + had been + past participle of the main verb + complement
Example: the house had been painted by Joaquim
Simple Future:
object + will be + past participle of the main verb + complement
Example: the house will be painted by Joaquim
Future Perfect:
object + will have been + past participle os the main verb + complement
Example: by next week the house will have been painted by Joaquim
