Showbags which are sold often do not come in recyclable packaging and use lots of plastic unnecessarily
Festivals

For example, necklaces and other jewellery made of beads are often thrown away soon after purchasing. These turn into landfill in no time.
Glitter is often worn on people's faces. This easily falls off as time passes, and ends up going everywhere. Glitter is not decomposable, which is harmful for the planet.

There are no garbage disposals in the kitchens where food is prepared. Due to this, 125 tonnes of non-edible food scraps were composted. This wasn't helpful as it could not be composted.

Craft Fairs
Craft items which have been made often get thrown away almost immediately. These are often not disposed of properly and end up in landfill.
Some materials used such as glitter do not decompose easily, and are therefore harmful to the planet
Markets
Markets, especially free markets, fail to allocate resources efficiently. These resources and goods are often thrown away once purchased.
