types of unemployment

seasonal unemployment
is when people who work in seasonal jobs become unemployed when demand for labor decreases. This typically occurs when a specific time of year ends or a new season begins, such as for a holiday or due to weather changes.
structural unemployment
occurs because workers lack the requisite job skills or live too far from regions where jobs are available and cannot move closer. Jobs are available, but there is a serious mismatch between what companies need and what workers can offer
Cyclical unemployment
is a type of unemployment that occurs when there is not enough aggregate demand in the economy to provide jobs for everyone who wants to work.
Frictional Unemployment
is the result of voluntary employment transitions an economy. Workers choosing to leave their jobs in search of new ones and workers entering the workforce for the first time are part of frictional unemployment.
