Neurological causes
Raised intracranial pressure causes a generalised headache , that becomes worse in the morning
Associated symptoms: drowsineess , vomiting

Idiopathic intracranial hypertension : headaches that happens in the morning characterised by loss of vision
Tension type Headache: Episodic and bilateral headache over the frontal , occipital and temporal lobes
GIT associated causes:

Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) infection: causes chronic inflammation and is associated with migraines

Types of Headaches

Classical Migraine: Unilateral headache , preceded by flashing lights or zigzag lines and associated with photophobia. Also known as migraine with an aura
Cluster headache: described as pain over one eye which lasts for minutes to hours
Causes lacrimation , rhinorrhoea and flashing of the forehead.
Happens in bouts.
Epidemiology: common in males
Cardio
Temporal arteritis: persistent headache caused by tenderness over the temporal artery
Associated symptoms: jaw claudication , jaw pain during eating resulting to weight loss
Respiratory
Acute sinusitis: Headache characterised by fullness behind eyes, cheeks or forehead
