A long history of oppression, violence, abuse, hatred, discrimination, and being cast out has led to the zionist movement of Israel --- but does a history of victimization justify the victimization of anther group, especially one who has nothing to do with the initial loss of land?
As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues through the present and into the forseeable future, it becomes imperative to ask: what is liberation, what is freedom, and what is justice? What is the purpose of a homeland if anther is destroyed? And is a homeland necessary for community?
