Stimulus
The ability of an organism or organ to detect external stimuli, so that an appropriate reaction can be made, is called sensitivity (excitability).
Detectable change in the internal or external environment: Stimulus is gathered by a receptor, which sends a signal to the brain, which tells us how to react (this is called the coordinator). Then, the effector moves glands and the response is the motion done when moving glands.
