Habitat loss is one of the greatest threats to biodiversity today. Habitat loss and degradation is estimated to affect 85 to 90 percent of all endangered birds, amphibians, and mammals.

Habitat loss can bring species into closer contact with human populations, which can cause a variety of problems.
The African wild dog was distributed throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Today, its distribution area is drastically reduced and fragmented into smaller areas, mainly in arid zones and the savannah.
Solutions :Educate the public about African Wild Dogs and create wildlife corridors between wildlife reserves to expand their range.
Trying to make people aware, education in the communities would be one of the first steps to prevent the problem from reaching a stage of no return.

The United States lacks a central agency responsible for identifying tigers in the hands of owners and cannot say where they all are, when they are sold, traded or what happens to their parts when they die.
Only a small percentage are kept in Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited zoos or other facilities where welfare and conservation is a priority. The United States, like the EU and the UK, currently has only scraps of legislation to regulate the ownership and trade of tigers.
Solutions: Engage, educate and protect local communities. Increase tiger prey populations
Solutions : call on the world to end the illegal wildlife trade and conserve the world's biodiverse habitats.
