Emancipation proclamation January 1st 1863 benefited the bus by abolishing slavery, it proclaimed the freedom of slaves in the 10 states that were confederate states. it changed the opinions on slavery.
The emancipation proclamation affected me good by helping the African Americans gain freedom being slaves and being owned, it helped the country become what it is today.
13th Amendment 1865 benefited the us by ending slavery.
The 13th amendment affected me good by changing the us in the 1800's by abolishing slavery. my life right now is how it is because of the 13th amendment, it affects me by having freedom and not being treated like I am something bad.
NAACP 1906 benefited the us by helping African Americans be heard and gain the rights they needed, our country has gotten better by having the NAACP.
The NAACP affected me good by me being able to be free in the us, they helped African Americans to walk free without discrimination. they removed all barriers of Racial discrimination and helped by having the rights I am supposed to have.
Women's suffrage 1920 benefited the us by helping fight for voting rights for the women, and help women move closer to equality in the aspects of the American life.
The women suffrage affected me good by being able to have voting rights as a women, I am able to vote and do things that I want. I can be who I am.

The Harlem renaissance affected me good by having things to learn, it brought out cultural things that I didn't know about. My life has been good because I get to explore the things that came out during that time and showed how the black experience was represented in the American culture.
The Great Depression 1929 benefited the us through the introduction to the new deal polices by Teddy Roosevelt which started the American welfare system, also Lyndon B. Johnson helped expand more help for the Americans.
The Great depression affected me good by the new deal programs being put in place, they did/will benefit. the benefits helped/will a lot of people that were going through bad times during that time. the great society programs will/did also help.
Fair labor standards act of 1938 benefited the us by helping children who were working in bad conditions and being over worked. they had no right to work.

World war 2 Sep 1939 was bad for the us, it took a toll on people lives in America. many had to go and fight in the war and some had to take on the role of being in charge. women lifestyles changed for them. they had to get jobs, many were struggling.

The pearl harbor affected me bad by having so much tension happening, many Americans lost their lives and some are affected by what happened. it affected by having tension around that was chaotic.
Baby Boom 1946 benefited the us by creating larger demands for the country and also helping the women out. the suburbs were becoming popular and many people wanted to settle down.
The baby boom affected me good by changing things in the us, many new things were put in place. the society gained new things like more demand for food and building more things that is needed.
Brown vs. Board of education may 1954 benefited the us by ruling that they violated the 14th amendment and it was unconstitutional. segregation was wrong towards everybody and everybody is equal.
The brown vs. board of education affected me good by ruling that everybody is equal and people should be treated with fairness. my family had to deal with segregation and not getting treated right. it changed things for education nd the education I have today.
Montgomery bus boycott December 1955 benefited the us by helping African Americans gain rights and to stop the public segregation that was going on. help them to see what was wrong with society.
The Montgomery bus boycott affected me good by being able to have civil rights and being able to be free while on transportation. it helped my community to be able to ride free and be free of segregation.
Little rock nine 1957 benefited the us by helping African American students get better education and helping the people in need of education. helped people come together in education.

March on Washington august 28th benefited the us by showing that African Americans had rights and everybody was equal.

Voting rights act of 1965 benefited the us by showing that nobody can be disseminated because of their race and everybody is equal.
