YEAR 8(W15): TEXTURE & TECHNIQUES- OIL PASTEL (COMPLETION)
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Know different types of painting
Explore media, materials, tools, technologies and processes. with different textural studies of landscape by applying different oil pastel techniques.
IMYC: RESILIENCE:
Be able to plan, create and refine an original artwork to communicate more abstract ideas
thoughts, emotions and/or views of the world
Be able to create an original artwork to serve a particular purpose or suit a specific
environment using appropriate media
LEARNING OUTCOME:
Students able to complete their COURSEWORK by adding an annotation
Students able to analyze and interpret the artworks.
RECAP
Oil pastel: Still life (from previous lesson)
Groups will then write a short review (100 words or less) about other group’s work following Feldman's four step approach:
Describe
- What do you see from the artwork?
Analysis
: List all the elements of art from the artwork shown
Interpret
: Any message that you see from the artwork?
Judgment
: Did the artworks successful?
Teacher will select one student from each group to present their feedback.
CW ACTIVITY:
1 minute given to the students to prepare their materials:
Teacher will explain what they should write as their annotation and make sure all the parts should be completed including the oil pastels’ techniques.
Students have to finish this CW during the lesson and submit physically.
Teacher will collect all the paintings
