From The ground
Cob
Made out of - Sand, Mud, Clay or Hay, straw, manure

Benefits- It has a low cost. It is good in thermal mass and it keeps the indoors temperature consistent. It is fire proof, you can mold it to create uniqe deigns.
Disadvantages - Lots of moisture when first built, It takes many years to build, Time consuming, labour intensive(requires lots of hard work), will not provide you with a loan to build a cob house, you have to build it yourself
what it is used for - To make fireplaces, chimneys, forges and cubicles

Trees and Plants
Cork
Disadvantages - slightly brittle, long transport route, tempaerature sensitive
Benefits - thermal and acoustic properties, free from synthetic resins and carcinogenic materials, resistant to abrasion, acts as a fire retardant, waterproof, heat resistant, water repelent
What is it used for - insulation panels, floor and wall tiles, sound-proofing, engine gaskets and bulletin boards

Newspaper Wood
What is it used for - it is a new way to use paper and shape it to create new shapes textures, forms and funriture.
Benifits - 100% recyclable and biodegradable, Waterproof and flame-retardant
What is it made from - coating individual sheets of old newspaper with glue and then tightly rolling the glued sheets into logs
Disadvantages - only wide as a newspaper, which limits its use in larger applications, limited use as a structural component

Mycellium
Benefits - It is fireproof and it is also non-toxic. Mycelium houses are low costs and are not time consuming.

Used for - packaging, clothing, food and construction
Disadvantages - Mycelium can't be used for a long time because of it's decreasing resistance in water and humidity.

Coming From Ocean
Seaweed
Benefits - Seaweed is fireproof, non-toxic and biodegradable. It has a life expectancy of 150 years. It also reduces carbon dioxide emissions, as it grows by itself.

What is it Used for - Seaweed is used for home insulation which is the things inside the walls that make the heat not get into the house so fast.(Passive Cooling).

benifits- It can grow in almost any climate so it will be easier to build your sustainable house. It is fireproof. It reduces your heating bills.

What it is made from - 50% carbon, 10% nitrogen, and 2% phosphorus
What it is used for - plastic, food, paints, carpet, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, almost anything
Man-made
Plastic Bricks
Benifits - twice as sturdy as concrete, light weight, they're thinner and lighter,heat insulating properties, they make good wall fillers
What is it used for - in construction, bricks, tiles, road pavements

Disadvantages - they can't be used like standard bricks because the plastic compresses under heavy structural loads

recycled nappies

Benefits-They are super easy to use.They are considered to be more sanitary than cloth nappies because of their one off usage.
what it is made from - Terry or flannelette cotton, hemp, bamboo, or a blend.
