Acute Infection
The common roentgenographic features are characterized by a patchy pneumonitis that eventually calcifies and hilar lymphadenopathy. If a heavy exposure has transpired, numerous patches of pneumonitis that calcify may develop, and these produce the so-called buckshot appearance on the chest roent-genogram

chest imaging findings
Chest radiograph image
Interstitial infiltrates, followed by mixed lesions consisting of nodular and alveolar infiltrates that are occasionally confluent, frequently bilateral, sym-metrical, and located preferentially in the central and lower fields

COCCIDIOIDOMYCOSIS
-
-
-
chest imaging findings
Unilateral infiltrates, hilar adenopathy, and pleural effusions. Lung cavities are present initially in approximately 8% of infections recognized in adults
-
PARAGONIMIASIS
-
-
-
chest imaging findings
Cystlike lesions and cavities, usually associated with linear or patchy infiltrates, fibrosis, and/or calcification
