IND: p help understand human behaviour (research) + what individual triggers allowed to behave like that

IND: grant, sperry, casey, Lee - lying - persons personality determines whether they lie. sit - env you are in determines where or not 'white lies' are acceptable
SIT: bandura, S+C - ind - process of attention unique to person - sit - env you are in determines what is inputted into the senses before the cognitive process of attention takes place

suggests that behaviour is predictable so cause & effect can be found
